Snket Desai is the independent operator behind CryptoClassic, a crypto price-history archive. He built the site and maintains it end to end: the data pipeline that pulls daily history and hourly quotes from CoinMarketCap, the build-time methodology that turns that data into all-time-high, price-history, and cycle-drawdown pages, and the editorial standards that keep the record accurate and dated.

Responsibility

He is accountable for what appears on this site: the sourcing and handling of data, the Editorial & Data Policy, the milestone updates generated from the site's own data, and any corrections. CryptoClassic is a solo, independent project with no affiliation to any exchange, token project, or fund.

Approach

The guiding principle is simple: record what crypto prices actually did, cite the source, date everything in UTC, and never silently revise a historical figure or publish a number that isn't in the data. Where a milestone predates the data source, it's documented as a cited note rather than charted as if it were exchange data.
